Report
Marcel Petiot was a doctor in Paris during the German occupation. He offered people fleeing the Nazis, including Jews, an escape from France for a high fee – instead he murdered them and took their possessions. His crimes were discovered in 1944 when neighbours reported thick smoke from his chimney. Convicted of 26 murders, he was executed in 1946.
